That’s why we have partnered with some of Canada’s most influential sports organizations to encourage sport and healthy living among Canadians, and help build a stronger country.

As the premier destination for sporting goods and apparel in Canada, partnering with Canada’s leading sports organizations is good for our brand and good for our business. We have relationships with over 60 sport organizations across Canada and we partner with these organizations because we are passionate about sport and it has been a part of our DNA for 95 years. From providing athletes with top-tier sports apparel and equipment, to sponsoring the events they participate in, Canadian Tire is with them every step, shot and jump along the way.

Canadian Olympic Committee
The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) leads the achievement of the Canadian Olympic Team’s podium success, advances Olympic values in Canada, and works with National Sport Federations to prepare the Team for the Olympic, Youth Olympic and Pan American Games. Canadian Tire Retail, Sport Chek and Sports Experts have a partnership agreement with the COC.


Canadian Paralympic Committee
The Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) is responsible for creating an optimal environment for high-performance Canadian Paralympic Athletes to compete and win in the Paralympic and Parapan American Games. By promoting the success of these high performing athletes, the CPC seeks to inspire all Canadians with a disability to get involved in sport. Canadian Tire Retail, Sport Chek and Sports Experts have a partnership agreement with the CPC.


Canadian Soccer Association
The Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) is the governing body of soccer in Canada. Within Canada, the CSA oversees national professional and amateur club championships and runs seven national teams, as well as the Para-Soccer Paralympic team. Canadian Tire Retail, Sport Chek and Sports Experts have a partnership agreement with the CSA.

Canada Snowboard
Canada Snowboard is an organization that works to lead snowboarding from the park to the podium, and make Canada the premier snowboarding nation. Canadian Tire Retail, Sport Chek and Sports Experts have a partnership agreement with Canada Snowboard.


Skate Canada
Skate Canada is dedicated to providing Canadians the opportunity to participate in skating throughout their lifetime for fun, fitness, and achievement. Canadian Tire Retail has a partnership agreement with Skate Canada.

Hockey Canada
Hockey Canada is Canada’s governing body of hockey, and works to lead, develop and promote positive hockey experiences in Canada. Canadian Tire Retail, Sport Chek, Sport Experts and Jumpstart have a partnership with Hockey Canada.


National Hockey League
The National Hockey League (NHL), founded in 1917, is the second-oldest professional team-sports league in North America. With 30 member clubs, the NHL entertains more than 250 million fans each season both in-arena and through its partners in national television and radio. Canadian Tire Retail, Sports Chek, Sport Experts, and Mark’s have a partnership agreement with the NHL.



Ottawa Senators/Canadian Tire Centre
Founded in 1990, the NHL’s Ottawa Senators are one of seven professional ice hockey teams in Canada. Canadian Tire Corporation has a partnership with the Ottawa Senators. The Partnership is highlighted by the renaming of the team’s arena to the Canadian Tire Centre as well as commitments to Ottawa’s community and grassroots sport programming. Canadian Tire Retail, Sport Chek, Sport Experts, Mark’s and Jumpstart are integrated into the cross-banner partnership.

Montreal Canadiens
Founded in 1909, the Montreal Canadiens are one of the oldest North American professional sports franchises, and the most decorated team in NHL history with 24 Stanley Cup titles. In 2014 Canadian Tire Corporation (Canadian Tire Retail, Sports Experts, Sports Rousseau and Bon Depart) signed a multiyear partnership with the Canadiens, the premier sports property in the province of Quebec.


Alpine Canada
Alpine Canada is Canada’s national sport organization for alpine skiing, ski cross and para-alpine ski racing. Alpine Canada’s vision is to win medals for Canada, inspire national pride and stimulate growth in the ski community. Sport Chek and Sports Experts have a partnership with Alpine Canada, and share the organization’s values of teamwork, passion and perseverance.

Canada Games
The Canada Games have played a central role in the promotion of sports and physical activity from coast-to-coast since 1967. Hosted every two years in a different province or territory and alternating between winter and summer sports – the Games motto “Unity through Sport” has paved the way to what is now Canada’s largest multi-sport competition for young athletes. Athletes participating each year are Canada’s next generation of national, international and Olympic champions. Sport Chek and Sports Experts have a partnership with the Canada Games.


Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE)
Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Limited (MLSE) is a professional sport company that owns the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC and Toronto Marlies Sport Organizations. Canadian Tire entered into a long-term, multi-banner strategic partnership with MLSE that will amplify employee and customer engagement as well as highlight a renewed focus on sport through retail, community and corporate-level programming and activation. Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Mark’s, Jumpstart, Partsource and National Sports have a partnership with MLSE.

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP)
CTMP is recognized as Canada’s Home of Motorsports and has been entertaining fans since 1961. The 900+ acre, multi-track facility is located in Bowmanville, ON. CTMP has hosted almost every class of road racing on its famed 3.957 km grand prix circuit, including the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, Formula 1, IndyCar and Karting. Canadian Tire has been a partner of CTMP since 2012.
