Next Generation Talent

Our IT team plays a critical role in our evolution, specifically as we transition to an omni-retailer where digital complements the physical. 

Canadian Tire’s Next Generation Talent Program provides a unique opportunity to develop broad technological expertise and a thorough understanding of core technology principles. You’ll learn to how to integrate the agile methodologies, emerging technologies, and business processes that drive tangible results in digital innovation, and leverage technologies and solutions to work smarter and better connect with our current and future customers. 

The program is designed to put promising graduates at the forefront of digital evolution at Canada’s most trusted retailer, positioning them as the next generation of technology leaders. Over three 12-month rotations, you will work closely with industry leaders; develop broad technological expertise, and a thorough understanding of core technology principles.




Finance Associate Analyst

Our Finance team plays a key role in helping us stay competitive in the ever-changing retail environment by providing accurate, timely, high-quality financial analysis and advice to our business.

Canadian Tire’s Finance Associate Analyst program provides you with an opportunity to broaden your financial acumen while developing a comprehensive understanding of our shared services process.

Depending on your rotations you could be involved in conducting cost-benefit analysis, developing and maintaining tracking reports, or working cross-functionally to develop financial business plans and re-forecasts. In other roles you may gain exposure to month-end and quarter-end financial reporting/analyses, or risk assessment activities. 

The program has been recently approved as a CPA training program, and is designed to help us build the next generation of financial leaders. 



Replenishment Analyst

Our Supply Chain team is responsible for connecting our quality products and services with our customers. 

Canadian Tire’s Replenishment New Graduate Program provides you with the opportunity to develop board supply chain experience.  The Supply Chain team is constantly undertaking process improvement initiatives, fine tuning capacity models, employing technology solutions, building strong relationships with third party logistics and product suppliers to better manage one of the country’s deepest and most extensive supply chain networks.   You’ll work closely with several groups within Canadian Tire to ensure visibility in forecasted demand and timely flow of goods from suppliers into our Distribution Centres and out to our stores.

Aligned with the Replenishment stream, candidates admitted into this program hit the ground running as an integral voice in decision-making that has a direct impact on millions of dollars in inventory within their categories




Forecasting Analyst

Our Merchandising team is responsible for connecting our quality products and services with our customers. 

Canadian Tire’s Forecasting Analyst New Graduate Program provides you with the opportunity to develop broad merchandising experience. It is an opportunity that is integral to the organizations success due to the critical impact of its outcomes on customer satisfaction and the business’s bottom line. You’ll work in a category business team and closely with other groups within Canadian Tire to ensure the forecasted demand results in optimal in inventory levels at our Distribution Centres and at our stores. 




Emerging Marketers

Our Marketing team plays a key role in our evolution. Digital marketing, in-store digital and eCommerce are three areas that will see the greatest transformation in the next few years.
Canadian Tire’s Emerging Marketer Rotational Program provides you with an opportunity to develop broad marketing expertise and a thorough understanding of core marketing principles. You’ll get exposure across the marketing function of the organization, and work closely with Merchandising, external agencies, and our partners to help bring marketing campaigns to life through print, TV, In-store or digital. You may also work closely with our Private Label Brands team to bring top Canadian brands like Canvas, Frank and Woods to our customers.
