The Dealer Selection Process
The Dealer selection process is a multi-step process that begins with the submission of an online application form, which can be found at the bottom of this page. For an overview of the screening and application process, please see below.
Complete the online application form found at the bottom of this page. An information package will be sent to all successful applicants via email.
If you advance to this step, your business acumen and leadership abilities will be assessed in a pre-screen telephone interview.
Stage 1 Interview
If successful, a Canadian Tire Dealer Selection Representative will contact you to conduct a Stage 1 telephone interview.
Stage 2 Interview
Candidates who are successful at stage 1 will be invited to attend a Stage 2 assessment.. During this stage, you will have an opportunity to further demonstrate the knowledge, skills and characteristics you would bring to Canadian Tire.
Stage 3 Interview
During this final step, you will be invited to attend a Stage 3 interview with our senior leadership team and representatives of our Dealer network.
Canadian Tire Corporation does not provide any assurance or guarantee that any applicant will be accepted into the Canadian Tire Dealer training program and/or that an applicant will receive a Canadian Tire store until all elements of the selection and training process have been completed to the satisfaction of Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited, in its sole discretion.
