The effects of climate change continue to pose a significant threat to the planet. We recognize that the increasing frequency of extreme weather-related events, like flooding or wildfires, have impacts on the stores we operate, the supply chains we rely upon and the communities in which we work and serve. At CTC, we are committed to being a part of the solution and joining the coordinated global effort to prevent the worst effects of climate change for future generations.

Circularity: Product, Packaging & Operational Waste

We are committed to increasing the sustainability of our product assortment and reducing the waste in our packaging and operations.

As one of Canada’s largest retailers, we recognize our role in supporting the industry’s long-term shift towards circularity. Our approach to circularity is centered on our efforts to use renewable resources and avoid the use of virgin non-renewable materials in our products and packaging, while continuously striving to reduce our operational waste.
