Community Impact

We are committed to investing in the communities where we operate by creating economic opportunities, supporting those in need and fostering inclusion.

At CTC, our success is rooted in the communities where we live and work. As such, we strive to collaborate with community partners, government representatives and local businesses to strengthen communities across Canada. We are proud of the investments we make in our store network and our involvement in local community causes. We also prioritize community well-being through our efforts to drive inclusivity in sports, as evidenced by our commitment to levelling the playing field for women in sports, and through our support of Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities (Jumpstart).

Our Community Impact focus areas are:

  • Strengthening local economies across Canada
  • Helping local communities
  • Driving inclusion in sport
  • Supporting Jumpstart in achieving its mission

Apply for local community support

Canadian Tire stores are run by a national network of passionate, independent Dealers with strong ties to the communities where they live and work. Through running their stores, Dealers are embedded in their local neighbourhoods, enabling them to understand and support their communities in meaningful ways. In addition to fundraising for Jumpstart, Dealers also often support local community initiatives and causes. To learn more about how Dealers support their local communities, see here. At a corporate level, CTC also provides support to a variety of programs that help Canadian communities thrive. To submit a request for donation or community sponsorship, click the button below. Please note that as a proud Canadian company, we focus our funding on programs that are offered within Canada.
